Product profile
Zmanym: Shabbat and zmanim times
Zmanym publishes Shabbat candle-lighting, havdalah and daily zmanim times for any location, with city pages, weekly email reminders, synagogue microsites and a native iOS app. It is a Cuanto Labs product built by Eliran Yihye.
What Zmanym is
Zmanym answers one question, what time it is for Shabbat or a daily halachic deadline where you are. The site shows candle-lighting, havdalah and daily zmanim, and it detects an approximate location or accepts a city or zip code.
Public pages cover 55 Florida cities, each with its own candle-lighting, havdalah and daily times.
Who uses it
Individuals use it for times, and synagogues use it to publish their own. Each shul can have a branded page at its own URL with a logo, an accent color and a message from the rabbi.
How it works
A visitor’s location, or a city page, selects the time zone and coordinates, and the page shows the week’s times. Subscribing to the weekly email sends candle-lighting and havdalah times to an inbox every week.
The iOS app is written in SwiftUI and includes home-screen widgets and an Apple Watch app. The site and public API behind it run on Next.js.
