Corrections
Report a wrong amount, date, name or investor, and see how corrections are handled and marked.
Request a correction
Email the corrections desk. Include:
- The address of the page with the error.
- What is wrong, and what it should say.
- A public source for the correct figure: a news report, press release or company announcement.
What gets corrected
Any fact on the site that a public source contradicts, including:
- Amounts, and whether an amount was disclosed
- Announcement dates
- Round stage (Seed, Series A and so on)
- Company, founder and investor names
- Which investors led a round and which participated
- Whether a company is Israeli-founded
- Source links that are broken or point to the wrong report
How corrections are handled
- A fact is changed when a public source supports the new version. The source is added to the page notes.
- Accurate, sourced facts are not removed on request, including by the company involved.
- Each entity has one page. A correction updates that page and its sources, and the change is visible at once.
How corrections are marked
- The corrected fact is changed in place, and its numbered source note links to the report that supports the new version.
Why errors happen
Rounds are read from public reports by software, then normalized and merged. The methodology lists the sources and the known limits, and the editorial policy explains how facts are checked.
