Editorial policy

A company enters the directory when a public report says it is an Israeli-founded startup that raised money, was acquired or went public. Founders and investors enter when a report names them in connection with that company.

Sources are public only: Israeli business press, press-release wires and SEC Form D filings. No private databases, paid feeds or company-submitted forms are used. The methodology lists the sources.

• Only facts stated in a report are recorded. Investors, founders, amounts and dates are never guessed; a field the report does not give stays empty.
• Each report is read by a language model that also scores its confidence. Entries scoring below 0.6 out of 1, entries not about an Israeli company, and entries without a usable date are dropped.
• Each fact carries a numbered note naming the publisher and date, linked to the original report, so any reader can check it.

Sources are checked once a day. A new report about the same company, founder or investor page adds its facts and its source to the existing page instead of creating a second one. Errors are fixed through corrections: a fact changes when a public source supports the new version.

Accurate, sourced facts are not removed on request, including by the company involved. Companies cannot pay to be listed, ranked or removed.
